Peter 1: Memorial Day (May 29, 2011)

How prepared are you to give a reason for the joy and hope that you have in life as a Christian? Tomorrow is Memorial Day, and our reason for celebrating is remembering the sacrifice of those men and women who died for our country. Blood was shed to secure the freedoms and priviledges we enjoy. We also enjoy priviledges in God's Kingdom. What are these freedoms and priviledges we enjoy, and do we know the reason why we have them?
